Mama and Cora

Here's another one of my favorite photos from our trip to the studio yesterday! I got a print of this one for Kevin to take to work.

Three Months!

We went in for Cora's three month pictures this morning. It's hard to believe she is 3 whole months old now! We had a great photographer and a much more positive experience than the one month photos -- Cora smiled and giggled through the whole session!

Ceiling Fan Friend

Kevin and I do a lot of silly things to try to get Cora to smile, laugh, and talk. But sometimes it's hard to compete with the ceiling fan! I'm not sure what it is, but the ceiling fan light combo gets all kinds of happy sounds and rapt attention from Cora without even trying!

Sure-fire Smiles

We've always sung a bunch to Cora, especially at diaper changing time and playtime. We discovered that she especially loves the "Boom-chicka-Boom" song. We always get lots of smiles when we chant "I say a boom-achick-arock-achick-arocka-chica-boom!" and she loves to sing along too!

Grandpa and Grandma with Cora after church. They came to visit and see Keri and Kurt off to college. We're especially grateful for all the house and yard projects they helped with while they were here!

A Card Player from Birth

True to her genes, Cora has shown an interest in playing cards already! We predict she'll be a champion Rook player in no time!

Cora and her Bouncy Chair

Cora has become more intrigued by her bouncy chair lately. There is a setting on the chair where the chair makes noises if Cora kicks in certain areas. She loves to look at the lights that go off when she kicks her little legs around. She usually gets tired of it after about 15 minutes-- just long enough for me to take a shower and get ready!
