What we did this weekend

The power of a big cardboard box never ceases to amaze me. We got it Friday afternoon and the girls colored it, put stickers on it, played house in it, made a fort with it, had Kevin close them up in it, and all other kinds of things. Evidently, it's lots of fun! Maybe it'll keep them busy while I clean the house tomorrow too...

I still think boxes are fun, I would totally play in one.

Just make sure they don't know how fun it is to ride down the stairs in it until they are older and you have putty on hand to fx the holes in the walls. CUTE PICTURES!

What a fun and cheap idea to keep two cute little girls busy.

Don't you think we waste money on toys? All we really need are some big boxes! Looks like lots of fun at your house!

So fun- and such a fun way to use wonderful little imaginations!

Isn't it amazing what you can with a cardboard box?

Your jumping on the bed and sofa question is funny to me. I never realized I didn't let my kids (you) jump on the beds or sofa EVER! But I let YOUR kids jump on my beds and sofas. What a grandma I am!

Hi. I guess I'm the only lame-o that lets my kids jump on the bed AND the couch. You (and everybody else) would probably let your kids jump on the couch too if you had a couch as trashed as mine! We need new furniture!

loved your poll! I usually allow about 4 jumps on the bed and then stop it. I also love that Hinckley quote! I'm thinking of putting it on my wall.

My kids recently got 2 boxes from a generous ward member. They've been in heaven! Your girls look so cute together in there.
