Cora and I spent some time at the Oquirrh Mountain temple a week before her baptism taking pictures. She looks so beautiful in her white dress and her giant smile, so excited for her upcoming baptism.
Finally the big morning had arrived! Kevin, Cora, and I went to the church early to get her jumpsuit and attend a prep meeting. The other kids came with Grandma and Grandpa later.
The talks were neat, and the program went quickly. Cora was the first of 6 in our stake to be baptized. It was a beautiful ordinance, and so neat to see her so confident in making her choice to be baptized. Kevin baptized her and Grandpa and Pata were the witnesses. I felt the Spirit strongly and it was so touching and sweet. Kevin confirmed Cora, with Grandpa, Pata, Shad, and Chris Vine (Kevin's cousin's husband) in the confirmation circle. We were lucky to have them all their for Cora's special day!
Cora with cousins! They had a lot of fun playing and eating donuts and fruit at our house afterward.
Congratulations Cora!
