Cora, Violet and I went home from the baby blessing with my parents and spent the week in Boise. Kevin met up with us there Thursday night and we got to spend the weekend all together. Cora loved having so many people to play with and so many new things to do. Her most repeated phrase for the week was 'up and down', which she said over and over. And up and down she went all week! Up and down in the new bouncy house, on the trampoline, in the water at the YMCA, on the fun island at the river, at the two parks, and in the backyard pool. We had such a fun time, thanks Kissie and Pata!
Cora, the budding gardener.

Throwing rocks into the river. Cora loved the splashes! She also loved being able to 'wash' her hands in the river. She has been very interested in keeping her hands clean lately, and if they aren't up to par, Cora lets us know by chanting "hands dirty, hands dirty!"
One of the parks we went to was by the river, so we took a little walk down to see the water.
Backyard o' FUN! Bubble machine, bouncy house, and swimming.
Cora loved the slide on the bouncy house almost more than bouncing in the house itself. Funny thing, because she wasn't interested in sliding at the parks at all.
Playing dress-up. What a princess! I thought she might skip the princess phase with her love of babies, Curious George, and big trucks, but the last few weeks she has become very interested. She dances around the house with her wand! Pretty cute.

I love that last picture, she certainly looks the part of a princess!
Sounds like you guys had a fun week in Boise. Cora looks cute in the dress ups, and the water looks fun to play in. We are excited for August.
Wow! Nolan and me are coming to Boise next time you go! I bet Cora was sad to leave all of that fun behind when you had to come home. And that's so nice that Violet doesn't need the binky. At least there won't be a painful "taking it away" period.
How fun! We will be up there this next week. We will actually be in McCall and I am ready for a break from the heat.
Goodness - must have taken weeks to blow that house up. Good thing there's plenty of hot air to spare out there.

Looks like lots of fun. I can't believe Violet doesn't want her binki anymore. That will be one less transition when she's older I guess. The girls were so cute on her blessing day. It looks like you had a house full.
Your parents must have been in heaven with your two girls there. It sounds like you had a great vacation :).
