Shad and Jen invited us over for Easter dinner on Sunday. They did a wonderful job and we had a yummy meal all together.
The girls gobbled their meal up (they always love ham) and Violet got to open her birthday present from Shad and Jen to help keep her and Cora busy while the rest of us had a leisurely meal. The girls also loved playing with Oreo and Butterscotch, well, they did after Violet's initial scream of terror when walking in the door. She got acclimatized fairly quickly.
After dinner we headed outside for a egg hunt. Shad and Jen have a nice park across the street from their house that worked perfectly. The girls loved hunting for eggs... they had a lot to look for!
It was a fun time all together, and so nice to be able to listen to conference on Sunday too. It seemed like there were a lot of talks on parenting.... I'm excited to get the Ensign next month and review them all. I loved hearing the Easter messages about the Savior too. Happy Easter!

Such cute pictures of your weekend. I can't believe Violet is 2 years old already. She and Cora are the cutest little buddies! I love those sweet pictures of Luke on the couch with sister - so sweet!
My mother-in-law was just telling me about Bountiful Baskets. I'd love to give it a try.
